It’s so easy for me to fall into the trap of focusing on my failures, or what I perceive to be my failures, as a mother. Maybe I’m not encouraging the best sleeping habits for #babyD2 or maybe I’m not setting enough boundaries for #babyD. Maybe I’m not giving #babyD2 enough tummy time and maybe I’m not brushing #babyD’s teeth enough (both of those happen to be true). But today, I’ve decided to focus on things I’m doing well as a mother.
-I have two happy boys
-I have two boys who are very good eaters
-#BabyD loves #babyD2
-My boys are growing up in a home where affection is freely (and frequently!) shown, both to them and between their parents.
-For #babyD, “say goodbye” means blowing a kiss
-Both boys are friendly, outgoing children
