Alright, here we are, friends, it’s the second half of 2016. How is your year going thus far? What are you most proud of so far? This year is flying by so quickly, but there is so much good stuff going on. I’m excited to be back to review my progress toward my big yearly goals and set some smaller goals for myself for the month of July.
Each month I’ll be joining Aubrey, Sharlee, and Ashley as we share our “One Little Word” for 2016, our goals, and our progress reports. The first Monday of each month, we will each be checking in and giving you all a chance to do the same.
As a reminder, my words for 2016 are “consistently elevate.” I want to be working towards bettering and elevating myself so that I can then help elevate others.
I was able to accomplish a few of my June goals: I did blog more consistently through the month of June and I was able to finish four books. We were also able to pay off a good chunk of our debt this month, thanks mainly to hubby’s hard work, and my little city garden is growing nicely.
In July, I have decided to focus on self-care. With #babyD3 arriving in about 10 short weeks, I need to make taking care of myself a habit before she arrives. For us mamas, self-care can sometimes fall to the bottom of our to-do lists, but it is vital for our well-being. I have started a new skin care routine, and will be exercising consistently this month as well. Spending an extra 5-10 minutes in the morning and evening to take care of my skin, and 30 minutes during the day to break a sweat will do wonders for me – both physically and emotionally.
What about you, friends? How was your June? What are you looking forward to accomplishing in July? Link up below – we can’t wait to cheer you on!
