One of my favorite dishes to make when company comes over is chicken cordon bleu. If you’re not familiar with the dish, it’s a chicken breast stuffed with ham and swiss, dredged in bread crumbs, and baked. It’s easier to make than you may think and it is definitely something you should add to your repertoire.
Chicken breasts (one per serving)
Thinly sliced ham
Thinly sliced swiss cheese
Bread crumbs (I prefer panko bread crumbs – I think they give the chicken a better texture)
Salt, pepper, garlic powder
