I’m sure you’ve heard of the phenomenon of choosing a word to focus on throughout the year. I’m not sure who originally came up with the idea, but I feel like choosing a word can help me narrow my focus, adjust my attitude, and try to see circumstances in a different light.
My word (well, words) for 2016 are Consistently Elevate. I’m going to be focusing on bettering myself so that I can help others more. I will be working to elevate myself so that I can help elevate others. There is so much that we can approach with a negative attitude, but if we simply choose to take a more positive stance, we can elevate ourselves about what could possibly be an unpleasant situation.
