You must create a lifestyle that supports your mental strength in order to achieve your highest potential. You must remove obstacles and impediments that hinder your mental strength. These are six reasons you might not be as mentally strong you should be.

1. People who steal your energy shouldn’t be punished

It would be wonderful if only positive people were around you. This is impossible. These types of people can quickly drain your mental power, regardless of whether they are a family member that criticizes you often or a coworker who gets his worst.

You can still limit their involvement in your life if you don’t want them to be completely removed. You can say no to unproductive conversations, decline invitations to events you don’t wish to attend, or excuse yourself from unproductive conversations.

Healthy boundaries can help you to focus your energy and time on what you truly value. It will also help you to stay mentally strong as you work towards your goals.

2. Your brain is more trusted than you think.

Your brain likes it when you remain in your comfort zone. Your brain will try to convince your that you can’t succeed or that you don’t have the ability to do anything different. Your brain may lie to you, but you need to be aware of this. Your brain is stronger than you realize.

You must realize that you are stronger than your brain may lead you to believe. You must be willing to step out of your comfort zone if you don’t know if you will succeed. 3. Avoid the things that scares you
